About Melville Brown

MELVILLE BROWN (Creator) is a pianist, composer and writer based in New York City. His compositions have been premiered in the US and Europe, most recently The Song of the Emperor, a song cycle based on the memoirs of Chinese Emperor Kangxi.  Mel has performed as piano soloist with European orchestras and is an alumnus of the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop for writers and composers.  He has produced dozens of musicals and cabaret-style reviews for middle and high school students.  Mel is a graduate of Duke University, Columbia University and the Juilliard School.  @melville_brown
